About Us

Airdrie BMX is a not-for-profit cycling club located in Airdrie, AB. We are a 100% volunteer based organization that promotes an active and healthy lifestyle through BMX racing.

BMX is short for "bicycle motocross" and has roots that date back to the 1970's in California. Airdrie BMX has been operating in its Fletcher Park location since 1986.

BMX racing became an Olympic sanctioned summer sport in 2008 at the Beijing Games. It featured Airdrie BMX racer Samantha Cools, who competed as a member of Team Canada. Other world class Airdrie riders include Jimmy Brown and Chase Kelln.

Our track prides itself on being the "Track of Champions" It is a track for all abilities; with a starter hill to snap hard out of and a great pro section, Airdrie BMX’s track is one you will want to hit up!
